AIR SERVICE TO CUBA Charter flights will soon be operating on a regular basis from New York and Los Angeles to Cuba. This will be the first scheduled flights allowed to operate since the US imposed an embargo against Cuba over 40 years ago. We will keep you posted as to the developments

More Air Carriers are limiting Y2K flights. American airlines said it will cut its usually lighter New Year's Eve capacity an additional 6 to 8 percent as the digital clock turn. Northwest and KLM, citing "lower than normal demand" also will cut back flight schedules on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. KLM will operate only 5 intercontinental flights, compared with 35 at the end of 1998. Meanwhile, British Airways said its turnover schedule will reflect reduced consumer demand. It plans to have 20 jets in the air at the stroke of midnight, compared to 55 last year. Other carriers have reduced or eliminated flight schedules, but all insist the moves are demand-driven and not result of computer problems or fears. (Btn-news) .

Aunt Ruthie's Chopped Liver

(The best tofu Spread around!)

• 1 onion, chopped
  
• 1 c. tofu, chopped
  
• 1 small can of
• peas,drained
  
• 2 oz. walnuts, finely ground
• 1 T. garlic salt
  
• 2 T. tarragon

1. Mash the peas and tofu and add all the other ingredients, mixing well. Add the spices to taste.

2. Serve on crackers
