The Grand Hotel Tombolo
The Grand Hotel Tombolo has 130 rooms and suites with views of the park or the sea. The staff is available to take care of your needs 24 hours a day. Along with the well equipped Wellness Center, the Resort also features two swimming pools, and a wide stretch of private sandy beach with sun lounges!

The swimming pools, set in a landscape of flowers and Mediterranean vegetation and connected to the complex by covered walkways, provide the basis of the thalassotherapy treatments. The complex has a grotto of 4 thermal pools for thalassotherapy, and two open air pools, one for adults and one for children. All the pools are salt water.

Hygiene standards are rigorous. The pool water is taken from uncontaminated sources and the bacteriological level and saline content are frequently checked.

Psammotherapy (sand baths): The first sand bath lasts for 15 minutes incrementing slowly up to one hour. The sand used for this treatment is frequently changed and soaked in sea water. In this way the curative value of the suns heat (50 - 60 °C) becomes integrated with and maximized by the mineral and organic components present in the sea salt and sea weed. Sand bath treatments are particularly effective in the treatment of arthritis, tendon and muscle inflammation, obesity and osteo decalcifcation.

Repaichage: Treatment performed on the face and on the entire body with the use of a combination of herbal, clay, seaweed or mud face-packs to produce a cleansing and moisturizing effect.
